If you have an idea for a feature article or department, we would like to hear about it. SFO is dedicated to publishing articles that provide nonpromotional, educational information on distinct and timely trading-related topics for individual investors and traders. Articles can be targeted to any level of trader, from novice to advanced. Authors should be able to demonstrate their expertise as traders, economists or other industry professionals.

SUBMITTING A PROPOSAL:

Send a letter of inquiry and/or a proposal, rather than a complete article. Before submitting your proposal, we ask that you consider whether your material fits our publishing profile. Your proposal should include the following:
1. A description of the subject, as well as its length.
2. An outline of the article.
3. A sample of your writing in a related field or subject.
4. Tell us about yourself, including your qualifications for writing an article on this subject and any experience you have with writing and/or having your work published.
5. Describe the audience you hope to reach. We look for unique articles that stand out. Explain how yours differs from those already in the market.
6. We will not accept hand-written submissions.
7. E-mail all materials to SFO Editorial, at editorial@sfomag.com. Expect a response to submission queries in 4-6 weeks.
