THE NEW FORMAT
Can I easily find the articles and departments I want?
The new format is very user friendly with many navigation features, so you can choose those you like best. If you do have any difficulties, a help button located in the upper right corner provides instructions for guiding you through the problems.

Will SFO still be easy to read in an online format?
We have enlarged our font size to make on-screen viewing easier on the eyes. If you want the font even larger, simply use the zoom feature. In addition, you always have the option of printing individual articles or the issue as a whole.

What changes should I expect? What sort of new features will the SFO e-magazine contain?
Our content will remain essentially the same, but now it will be enhanced with links and multimedia features. For a complete list of the features the upgrade entails, see Benefits and Features.

Can I check out the magazine before subscribing?
Yes. We encourage you to try the demo of the electronic SFO and all its upgrades.

Will I be able to download articles to my computer, phone, iPad, etc.?
The e-magazine technology allows you to download the publication as a PDF. Any device that allows this should be able to handle the new SFO. We will let you know when SFO’s e-magazine is ready for viewing on e-readers and other mobile devices.

SUBSCRIBING
Will subscribing to SFO magazine automatically sign me up for your other publications?
No. There is a similar but separate subscription process for each publication. However, they are all always free.

If I currently have a subscription to one of your other publications, how will the conversion affect me?
The conversion will not affect you if you are subscribed to our e-newsletters. There is a separate subscription process for SFO magazine.

Do I have to have an e-mail address to be a subscriber?
Yes. SFO will be delivered directly to your e-mail account’s inbox. If you do not have an e-mail account, you can open a free account through several providers such as Gmail, Yahoo! or Hotmail. To ensure timely delivery of all valuable SFO messages, including your subscriptions, add the SFO domain—@sfomag.com—to the “Safe Senders List” in your e-mail system.

Will subscribing open me up to receiving junk mail/solicitation? Will my e-mail address be distributed?
No. SFO never sells or shares your personal information with third parties. However, you may receive additional communications from SFO regarding offers we think may interest you. Please read SFO’s Privacy Policy for more information. You may unsubscribe at any time, as well.

How do I subscribe? If I currently have a magazine subscription, do I need to switch to an e-magazine one? How do I do this?
A print version of SFO magazine will no longer be published, so if you want to continue to receive SFO you must convert your subscription. This is easy to do.
If you already have a magazine subscription and included your e-mail address when you signed up, you will automatically be converted. If you have not shared your e-mail address with us previously, please update your account information online or call customer service at 800.590.0919. You can also subscribe by completing and returning a postcard you will receive in the mail.
If you have any questions about subscribing, please contact customer service.

Will the SFO gift subscription continue to be an option?
Yes. Just make sure that you include the recipient’s e-mail address.

How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of the e-mail that contains the new issue of SFO magazine or contact customer service.
