WE'RE ABOUT EDUCATING TRADERS
SFO is dedicated to providing investors and retail traders an educational resource in the ever-changing financial marketplace. The magazine is a place for active traders to find consistently useful and cutting-edge articles on markets, trading strategies and technical methods, as well as economic and regulatory issues. The focus on global and national news, commentary and methodologies in both equities and derivatives markets serves up information readers can use to shape their personal investing styles. And the educational content within the high-quality pages of SFO can't be found anywhere else.

The magazine continues to draw top authors, traders and financial industry experts, including Andrew B. Busch, John Murphy, Steve Nison, John Bollinger, Linda Bradford Raschke, William O'Neil, Darrell Jobman, John Carter, Harry Dent, Jon Najarian, Ken Shaleen, Michael Covel and many others.

And the editorial staff encourages readers, contributors and advertisers to share their experiences and insights for the benefit of each other.

SFO’s current circulation is more than 120,000 subscribers plus newsstand sales and online readership.

SFO is published by Wasendorf & Associates Inc., which was established itself more than three decades ago as a resource for trading-related education, information and trading recommendations.

SFO HISTORY
SFO originally began life in late 2001 as Stock Futures & Options magazine (did you catch the subtle difference?), focused on educating traders about stock futures and stock options. But by mid-2003, it was clear that the mission was broader, and the magazine became Stocks, Futures and Options, focused on bringing readers pertinent information about trading all aspects of securities and derivatives.

As the markets have evolved for the retail participant, so has SFO’s coverage. We now have 25 major categories of regular coverage. These include technical and fundamental analysis, psychology of trading, world markets, day trading and trading systems, among others. Most recently we have expanded into reporting on green investing, exchange-traded funds and foreign currency.
